Equipment Sourcing:
MFA and M4A sources equipment from across South Africa and globally, including approved OEM dealerships, end-of-life and redundant equipment from mines and contractors, ex-rental fleets, repossession portfolios and international brokers. If a specific machine is not in current stock, we can source it. Our global network allows us to locate virtually any make or model of heavy plant within the buyer’s budget and timeline.
Inspection & Documentation:
Every machine we sell can be professionally assessed and inspected. Hour meter readings, oil analysis, TA2 or TA3 reports and photographic inspections can be made available on specific request. Our buyers have access to understanding exactly what they are purchasing before finalising any transaction.
Logistics & Border Clearing:
We provide full turnkey logistics coordination from the point of purchase to the point of delivery. This includes: arrangement of flatbed and lowbed transport, sea freight where applicable, export documentation from the country of origin, border clearing agents for all southern and sub-Saharan African borders, import permits and clearance at the destination country and cross-border payment structures. We have established logistics partners and clearing agents accross all major corridors.
Disassembly & Reassembly:
Large plant and equipment, including mining excavators, crushing plants and processing equipment, must be broken down for transportation and re-erected on-site. MFA and M4A coordinates this entire process, including the engagement of specialist disassembly crews, oversized load transport and reassembly teams. This turnkey capability is rare in the African broker market and is a key differentiator.
Generator Sets — Custom Manufacturing:
MFA offers custom-designed and built diesel generator sets, manufactured in Johannesburg to demanding industrial specifications. High-powered synchro sets are also designed, manufactured and supplied for independent power generation at remote locations and mining operations.
Options include trailer-mounted, open or canopied configurations, manual or auto-start systems, single or three-phase supply and various kVA ratings from 350kVA upwards. Standby power solutions, battery-backed UPS systems and solar-integrated applications are also available. Full documentation and warranties are provided on all new units.
Finance Facilitation:
MFA does not provide finance directly, but we work alongside approved asset finance providers and can introduce qualified buyers to finance partners where appropriate. Buyers are encouraged to have finance pre-approved before enquiring to ensure the most seamless transaction experience.
